In practical application scenarios, because of practical conditions such as narrow installation spaces and compact equipment layouts,small-scale compression refrigeration cycle systems need to be installed separately according to the functions of their components. In this paper, the experimental studies on the flow resistance of connecting hoses with different diameters are carried out,and the effects of connecting hoses with different diameters on the cooling capacity and COP of the system under different compressor rotational speeds and refrigerant charging quantities are analysed. The results show that when the diameter of the connecting hose is 6 mm or greater, under the same charging quantity, the cooling capacity and COP of the system are basically the same as or higher than those of the smooth copper tube system, which can replace the smooth copper tube, enabling quick connection and addressing issues of limited installation space and inconvenient welding operations.
